Prof. John Robert Stephen Tabuti is a Government Appointee on the Busitema University Senate, an educator, ethnobotanist, and researcher. He is pedagogically proficient and has designed and delivered many university courses. 

Prof. Tabuti holds a Ph.D in Ethnobotany from Nowrwegian University of Life Sciences,  a MSc. in Botany and BSc. from Makerere University. He also holds a Certificate in Forest Carbon Science, Policy and Management.
